3. User Accounts

To access certain services, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining your account credentials and all activity under your account.

4. Platform Services and User Responsibilities

Office Spaces provides multiple services. You agree to use all services in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Office Space Listings and Bookings

  • Property owners must provide accurate descriptions, pricing, and availability.
  • Listings must comply with local zoning and safety regulations.
  • Tenants must honor confirmed bookings and payment obligations.
  • Cancellation policies must be followed as specified in booking confirmations.

Website Builder Services

  • Users are responsible for the content they create and publish.
  • Content must not violate intellectual property rights or contain illegal material.
  • Hosting and domain services may be subject to additional agreements.

Virtual Office and Communication Services

  • Virtual office addresses must be used for legitimate business purposes.
  • VOIP and virtual number services must comply with telecom regulations.
  • Call forwarding and messaging services are provided on a best-effort basis.

General Prohibitions

  • Engaging in unlawful activity or infringing intellectual property rights.
  • Distributing harmful content, malware, or deceptive listings.
  • Attempting unauthorized access to platform systems.
  • Circumventing payment systems or scraping platform data.

5. Intellectual Property

All platform content, templates, software, and branding are the property of Office Spaces or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute protected content without permission.

6. Payment Terms and Financial Obligations

Payment terms vary by service (bookings, subscriptions, virtual office, communication usage). All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Failure to pay may result in service suspension or termination.

7. Privacy Policy

7A. SMS Messaging Program Terms

By providing your mobile phone number and expressly opting in, you consent to receive SMS text messages from Office Spaces regarding account notifications, booking confirmations, appointment reminders, virtual office services, mail notifications, customer support communications, platform updates, service alerts, and promotional offers.

SMS Consent

SMS consent is not a condition of purchase. Users must provide affirmative consent through an opt-in form, registration page, booking form, account signup process, or other approved consent mechanism.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies depending on your use of the platform and selected services.

Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply according to your wireless carrier plan. Office Spaces is not responsible for charges imposed by your carrier.

Opt-Out Instructions

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors providing support services, including customer service and messaging services, is permitted solely for the purpose of operating the SMS program.

Service Availability

SMS delivery is subject to effective transmission by your wireless carrier and is not guaranteed. Office Spaces shall not be liable for delayed, failed, or undelivered messages.

Changes to SMS Program

Office Spaces reserves the right to modify or discontinue its SMS messaging program at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page and may also be communicated through SMS, email, or platform notifications.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Office Spaces is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or third-party integrations.

9. Insurance and Property Protection

Office Spaces may provide supplemental coverage for platform bookings, but users are responsible for maintaining their own appropriate insurance coverage.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Office Spaces and its affiliates from claims arising from your use of the platform, your content, your listings, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Service Availability and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access at any time for violations, fraudulent activity, non-payment, or misuse of the platform.

12. Dispute Resolution

Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

14. Third-Party Links and Integrations

The platform may include third-party links and integrations. Office Spaces is not responsible for third-party content, practices, or policies.

15. Data and Content Ownership

Users retain ownership of eligible user-generated content while granting Office Spaces operational rights needed to deliver services.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Office Spaces regarding platform use and supersede prior communications on this subject.
