The short answer

Widgets are the individual content and business components placed inside page layouts. Add them deliberately and keep related content grouped in the same section or row.

Availability: Available to accounts with Website Builder access. Some tools depend on the selected plan, site role or connected service.

Step-by-step

  1. Open Widgets or Quick Add

    Choose the required widget from the left panel, or use the canvas add control inside a layout area.

  2. Place the widget

    Drag or add it into the intended section, row or column and confirm it appears in the correct order.

  3. Edit its settings

    Select the widget to update its text, links, images, styling or feature-specific configuration.

  4. Reorder or move it

    Use the widget move controls or drag-and-drop behavior to reposition it without deleting its content.

  5. Delete carefully

    Remove a widget only after confirming it is not reused or needed on the page, then save and preview.
