The short answer

Recipient details determine who can act, and signing order determines when they receive access. The send dialog controls the deadline and completion rules.

Availability: Available to accounts with access to Booking System or Document Editor. Providers and advanced controls depend on account configuration.

Step-by-step

  1. Add and verify recipients

Enter each signer once with a verified name and email, then assign every interactive field to the intended signer.

  2. Set signing order

When sequence matters, enable signing order and arrange recipients exactly as required. Later signers wait for earlier signers.

  3. Write the email message

Explain the agreement and expected action without including passwords or sensitive access details.

  4. Set expiration and decline behavior

Choose a realistic expiration date and decide whether signers may decline. Preserve any recorded decline reason.

  5. Require fields and review permissions

Enable Require All Fields when needed and confirm displayed access and download permissions.
