The short answer

Responsive preview modes help expose wrapping, spacing and visibility problems before customers see them. A page that looks correct on desktop may still require mobile adjustments.

Availability: Available to accounts with Website Builder access. Some tools depend on the selected plan, site role or connected service.

Step-by-step

  1. Open a representative page

Start with a page containing navigation, images, columns, buttons and a form so you can assess the main layout patterns.

  2. Select Desktop

Review wide-screen alignment, maximum content width, image quality and navigation behavior.

  3. Select Tablet

Check column stacking, text wrapping and touch-target spacing. Ctrl+2 or Command+2 selects this mode.

  4. Select Mobile

Check menu access, horizontal overflow, form fields and button sizes. Ctrl+3 or Command+3 selects this mode.

  5. Use Preview for a final check

Open Preview and test real navigation and interactions outside the editing canvas.
