A named Alberta corporation requires an Alberta NUANS report. Include your preferred name in the request for review.
Numbered corporation

A numbered Alberta corporation does not require a NUANS report. Select numbered incorporation when completing your intake.

Prepare physical Alberta registered and records addresses, adult director information, and an Alberta agent for service who consents to the role. Registry submission requires the applicable forms, identification and payment.

What is the difference between a named and numbered Alberta corporation?
A named corporation uses a proposed name and requires an Alberta NUANS report. A numbered corporation receives its number from Corporate Registry and does not require that name search. Both options are available in Alberta Services; staff reviews the details before filing.
How much does Alberta incorporation cost?
Your quote includes registry charges, a fixed CAD $75 one-time OfficeSpaces setup fee, any required NUANS search, selected additional services and applicable tax. Registry costs are confirmed during review. The optional monthly office package is separate. Accept the itemized quote before paying through the available checkout.
What does the $29.99 Alberta office package include?
Mail handling, forwarding, unlimited calling, SMS and full software suite access are included, together with a staff-provisioned local Alberta phone number. The monthly price is CAD $29.99 plus $1.50 GST: CAD $31.49 total. The first and last months are paid upfront, totaling CAD $62.98 including GST.
Does the office package provide my agent for service?
The office subscription does not automatically appoint an agent for service or establish that an address is suitable for your incorporation. Staff must verify the address arrangements and agent consent separately before filing.
How do I cancel the monthly office package?
Give at least 30 days’ notice through your company workspace. Service ends at a billing-month boundary, and the screen shows the end date before confirmation. Your prepaid last month is applied to the final service month rather than billed again. Incorporation charges are separate from the office subscription.
Can I sign documents and get my certificate through my account?
Yes. Staff can send a prefilled authorization to your account email from info@officespaces.co. Your private document vault stores uploaded company PDFs and completed authorizations. After registry fulfillment, staff can upload your certificate. Signing the authorization does not complete the registry filing by itself.
Will the platform remind me about annual returns?
Once staff records the verified incorporation date, the platform schedules annual compliance reminders by email and in your account. Staff records completion evidence when the filing is handled. Reminders support planning; they do not submit the return or pay a government fee.
