The short answer

Page properties provide advanced controls for external CSS, JavaScript and page scripts. Add only required resources and understand their privacy, licensing and performance impact.

Availability: Available to accounts with Website Builder access. Some tools depend on the selected plan, site role or connected service.

Step-by-step

  1. Open Edit Page Properties

In Pages Manager, edit the intended page and open the developer settings.

  2. Choose the correct resource control

Use Head Scripts, Body Scripts, Manage CSS Files, Manage Global CSS or Manage JS Libraries according to the resource.

  3. Enable Bootstrap only when required

Use Add Bootstrap 5 library to this page only when the custom layout depends on it and check for style conflicts.

  4. Add trusted code

Use HTTPS sources from providers you trust and avoid duplicate frameworks or libraries.

  5. Validate and preview

Save, reload, test page interactions and inspect Desktop, Tablet and Mobile before publishing.
