The short answer

Navigation depends on both the header or menu design and each page’s properties. Plan a short primary menu and use dropdown parents for closely related pages.

Availability: Available to accounts with Website Builder access. Some tools depend on the selected plan, site role or connected service.

Step-by-step

  1. Open Pages Manager

Review the current page names, slugs, status and navigation arrangement.

  2. Set page properties

Open Edit Page Properties and use Dropdown Parent (Optional) when a page belongs under another menu item.

  3. Control visibility

Use Hide page from navigation for landing or utility pages that should remain accessible by direct link.

  4. Edit Header and Footer

Use the Header control or edit header/footer widgets to confirm the menu and shared links.

  5. Preview every menu state

Test desktop and mobile navigation, dropdown links, the home link and footer links before publishing.
