The short answer

Publishing changes what customers can access. Save and preview first, then verify the live domain after publishing rather than assuming the canvas matches production.

Availability: Available to accounts with Website Builder access. Some tools depend on the selected plan, site role or connected service.

Step-by-step

  1. Save the editor

    Choose Save or Save Now and wait for confirmation.

  2. Preview the complete site

    Use Preview to test pages, navigation, forms, responsive modes and business widgets.

  3. Publish and verify

    Choose Publish, wait for success, then use View Live Site and test the public URL in a new session.

  4. Unpublish deliberately

    From the Website Builder dashboard, choose Unpublish only when the public site should become unavailable.

  5. Export when needed

    Use Export to download the available HTML package and store it securely; confirm the exported result before relying on it as a migration copy.
