The short answer

Troubleshooting starts by identifying whether the problem is visual authoring, graph validation, capability activation or background execution. Preserve the workflow and activity details before retrying.

Step-by-step

  1. Check missing icons

Refresh the Application Builder and confirm the local Font Awesome asset loads. Every palette item should show an icon plus a readable text label.

  2. Check missing connector lines

Select the source output port and then the target input port. Merely dragging cards near each other does not connect them.

  3. Open validation errors

Select each validation message to return to its node. Complete required fields, remove cycles and connect unreachable cards.

  4. Check capability requirements

If activation is blocked, read the node-specific adapter or provider requirement. Saving configuration does not enable an unavailable handler.

  5. Check worker and queue health

If work remains due, confirm a recent worker heartbeat, review queue lag and inspect the job’s attempts and sanitized error.

  6. Escalate with identifiers

Record the workflow ID, run ID, job ID, event type, approximate time and visible error. Do not duplicate the source submission or booking as a retry method.
