The short answer

Visual Workflows turns a business process into connected nodes. A workflow needs one trigger, reachable downstream nodes and visible connector lines that show the execution order.

Availability: Available to accounts with access to this workspace or feature.

Step-by-step

  1. Create or select a workflow

Enter a descriptive workflow name or choose an existing draft before editing the canvas.

  2. Add nodes from the palette

Search Triggers, Logic and Actions, then drag a node to the canvas or select it to add it with keyboard or touch controls.

  3. Position the nodes

Drag cards into a readable left-to-right or top-to-bottom sequence. Moving a card does not automatically connect it.

  4. Connect the workflow

Select the output port on the first node, then select the input port on the next node. A visible line should join the cards. Conditions provide separate TRUE and FALSE outputs.

  5. Configure each node

Select a card and complete its typed fields in the inspector. Capability warnings explain integrations that can be authored but cannot yet be activated.

  6. Save the draft

Save before validating. A draft preserves the graph but does not process new events.
